On April 17, 2010 Joao Garcia became the 10th climber in history to climb all 14 8000 meters mountains without using supplementary oxygen. His project “Climbing The World’s Summits” (that was sponsored by Millennium bcp since 2006), was completed 17 years after its start in 1993.
